Martine Lintereur

Biography

Martine is a clinical social worker at New England Cancer Specialists with 25 years of experience, including 13 years dedicated to hospice care. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Southern Maine and a graduate degree in Social Work from the University of New England. She understands that receiving a cancer diagnosis, or having a loved one with such a diagnosis, can evoke complex emotions. It is important to remember that you do not have to navigate this journey alone. Martine is committed to helping individuals manage emotional challenges, cope with life’s difficulties, and work towards achieving their personal goals. She recognizes the importance of patient-directed care and is here to provide essential support during challenging times.

Originally from Rhode Island, Martine relocated to Maine in 1986 after taking a summer job and chose to make Maine her home. She enjoys outdoor activities in all four seasons in New England.
