Biography

Sarah is a physician assistant in the Cancer Survivorship and High-Risk Cancer Genetics programs at New England Cancer Specialists.  Her goal is to help people live well to prevent and recover from cancer. 

Sarah grew up on the south coast of Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Massachusetts Amherst where she graduated magna cum laude and a Commonwealth Honors College Scholar with Greatest Distinction.  Prior to becoming a PA, Sarah worked in clinical research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.  Her research involved exploring the experiences of young women with breast cancer, as well as assessing and improving survivorship care for all cancer survivors.  Sarah moved to Maine in 2018 and received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant degree at the University of New England in Portland. 

As a PA, Sarah has worked in breast oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, and internal medicine.  Prior to joining New England Cancer Specialists, she worked at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH where she enjoyed teaching medical students and bringing PAs and NPs together for networking, mentorship, and celebration.
